Compared to 217 other countries, Australia is the 18th most expensive country in the world. And prices are going up. Living expenses have increased at the fastest rate in four years. Sydney is the most expensive city – ranking 10th globally. Melbourne is not far behind. Rents in major cities may consume more than 30% of earnings.  Read More >
