Led by UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, the Center for the Business of Health is a multidisciplinary team that brings together UNC’s leading health sciences divisions — including the top-ranked schools of Pharmacy, Public Health, Nursing, Dentistry and Medicine — with the schools of Social Work, Information and Library Science and Law as well as departments within the College of Arts & Sciences. By building on this collaborative powerhouse of talent, UNC Kenan-Flagler seeks to distinguish itself and the University as leading national voices in the business of health care.
The annual UNC Business of Healthcare Conference, unites practitioners, policy makers and academics to improve value creation across the healthcare industry. It assembles a wide range of stakeholders to explore a variety of healthcare topics such as delivery payment models, digital health, pharmaceutical pricing, the opioid crisis, ethical decision making by providers and quality improvement in delivery. UNC’s thought leadership is shared through the dissemination of white papers.
