Where did you land your internship or full-time role?
I currently work at Lowe’s as a Sr. Business Project Manager – Supply Chain
Briefly describe your experience in landing this role. What challenges did you overcome?
I have been at Lowe’s since an internship during undergrad in 2019. I recently celebrated my 5 year full time anniversary.
How did UNC, Kenan-Flagler Business School, the MBA program, or MBA Career Services help you secure this opportunity?
I had this position before my start of the program, but I was promoted during the program (January). The MBA has allowed me to continue to grow my skills and become a more well rounded business leader. I have worked with Bill Faulkner throughout the program and this helped me land my promotion.
What are your long-term career goals?
I hope to continue excelling in the field of supply chain strategy and execution
What’s one lesson or insight you hope every MBA student takes with them after graduation?
Take advantage of every networking opportunity available to you!
Can you share a moment or success story that’s stuck with you during your time in the program?
Mentioned above, but I have worked with Bill Faulkner throughout the program. He has helped me craft my resume and better prepare for interviews. He has also helped shape my long term career outlook.
